Something exciting is coming.
The end of free-to-air coverage of the Tour De France
is not the end of the journey.
It's the beginning of a totally new one.

Podcast hosted by Ned Boulting, David Millar, Pete Kennaugh and honorary guest Lizzie Deignan. They talk about many things, although they never stray far from the core topic: bike racing. Expect guests from the peloton, past and present, and some proper old school reporting from the road side.

"Their perspective on cycling is perfect. They don't take it or themselves too seriously, but rather share their love for the bike (and a lot of other things completely unrelated to cycling)."

"Excellent and entertaining pod. Great guests and very entertaining hosts. David and Pete provide great insight into the race and Ned's enthusiasm is infectious."

David Millar

Four time TDF stage winner, and former maillot jaune wearer, David Millar is a founding member of Never Strays Far. Elegant and erudite in equal measure, David likes to feel he is the adult in the room. Sometimes he’s right.

Lizzie Deignan

One of the greatest female riders of all time, the former world champion Lizzie Deignan will join the core Never Strays Far team, where she will doubtless take effortless control over things. Unlike with David, she knows she’s the only adult in the room.

Pete Kennaugh

There aren’t the words to describe Pete Kennaugh, first Brit to win up Alpe d'Huez, twice on the winning Tour de France teams, when Chris Froome was leader. Passionate, scattergun, crazily enthusiastic and unpredictable, he is…Pete Kennaugh.

Ned Boulting

Ned Boulting’s been around at the Tour de France for coming up 23 years. On his very first day at work, he met David Millar, in 2003. Almost half a century on, he has written 6 books about cycling, and toured 5 one-man theatrical shows about the Tour de France. Never Strays Far was his idea. Blame him.
